Jeanne Marie Miller

Jeanne Marie Miller died in her sleep on August 17th, 2013, from complications of ALS, with her family at her side. She leaves her husband of 42 years, Thomas; two sons, Chris and Jeff; two grandchildren, Lauren Marie and Brendan; and a brother, James. Jeanne graduated from The University of Toledo and earned a masters degree from The Ohio State University. She worked as a high school teacher in Toledo and as a psychologist for Columbus (Ohio) City Schools. More recently, she worked as a psychologist at Santa Ana Unified School District for over 20 years. Jeanne was a member at St. Martins Catholic Church in Yorba Linda, CA where she also taught religious classes. She served as a Cub Scouts den leader, and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Jeanne enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling around the world. A vigil service will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 7pm at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 18311 Lemon Drive in Yorba Linda, CA. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 1pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 717 N. Bradford Ave. in Placentia, CA. Jeanne will be buried at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 Santiago Canyon Road in Orange, CA after her funeral mass.
