Rob was raised in Hudson, Florida and earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Allegheny College where he played football for the Allegheny Gators. He worked in the finance industry before joining the Army and finding his passion as a soldier and leader. He served two tours, one in Afghanistan, one in Kuwait, and was honorably discharged under medical retirement after seven years of service.
Rob would tell you that serving in the Army was his passion and his purpose in this life. After leaving the Army he went on to earn his Master’s degree in Business and Administration from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where he lived with his wife and 3 children. He returned to work in the finance industry where he worked as a Premier Banker. He also volunteered his time and knowledge with the organization Vets4Life where he served as their treasurer and was a core member of their board of directors, all in an effort to help his fellow veterans.
His other passions were being an amazing Dad to his 3 young children, college football, NASCAR racing, and being outside anywhere in Colorado. He spent his time fly fishing the beautiful Colorado rivers, skiing, hunting, and camping whenever he could.
He is predeceased by his father, Robert L Taylor, Sr. and leaves behind his wife, Liza Taylor; son, Robert Taylor III; daughters, Calla and Virginia Taylor; mother, Evelyn Taylor; sister, Lisa Taylor Beck; brother in-law, Jeffrey Beck; 6 nephews and 3 nieces, all of whom he loved fiercely.
