Paul passed away on the evening of Sunday, March 29, 2020 of natural causes. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Marilyn Sue Renshaw, resident of Loveland, Colorado. Paul was born in Flushing, Michigan on January 13, 1933. He and Marilyn met during high school and were married on April 4, 1953 in Flushing, Michigan.
He served in the US Army in Germany from 1953 to 1955 and was honorably discharged from service as a corporal.
Paul held a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota and was a college professor of business and education upon retirement from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico.
Paul is survived by his wife Marilyn, his daughters, Karen M. Renshaw, Jayne S. Renshaw and Kay L. Lauridsen and her husband Mark Lauridsen and their two daughters, Amy Lauridsen and Katie Lauridsen. He was also great granddad to Chet & Madelynn Lauridsen, the children of granddaughter Katie Lauridsen. Survived by his sister Carol Bugby, preceded in death by sister Jeannine Schlichter.
In his retirement he was a longtime volunteer with the US National Forest Service. He had a strong interest in the family genealogy and a great talent in wood working and carving.
