Michael Thomas Hamilton, 83, passed away on February 3, 2019 at MacKenzie Place in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born on October 11, 1935 in Syracuse, New York to Thomas J. Hamilton and Dorothy Jane Hamilton. Mike grew up in Syracuse, NY. He graduated high school from Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, New York in 1953. After high school, he attended the University of Syracuse where he received a Bachelor of Science degree Business Administration. He then worked for CBS Records and Sony, Inc. as an accountant for many years.
Mike loved sports. He played golf as often as he could. He also loved rooting for his favorite teams; the Syracuse Orange basketball team and the New England Patriots football team.
Mike is survived by his children, Kimberly Angilletta of Fort Collins, Colorado and Kathryn Hamilton, and his grandchildren Garrett and Madison Hamilton of Newtown, Connecticut; and cousins Samara, Andy, and Megen Mims of Chattanooga, TN. Mike was preceded in death by Thomas J. Hamilton and Dorothy Jane Hamilton.
A funeral service will be held at Allnut Funeral Home at 650 Drake Rd in Fort Collins on Saturday, February 9th at 12:00. Immediately following the funeral ceremony, the family will be greeting friends and relatives at their home.
