Em was born to Evelyn and Herman Bruns on May 11, 1942 in Iowa. She married Robert (Bob) Roper and between them they had 6 children – Debbie, Cheryl, Syndey, Jaial, and Laura. Em obtained many hats during her life, she was a mother, 4-H leader, second grade teacher, art farmer, and antique dealer. Most importantly, Em was a lifelong quester of faith, instilling her beliefs into her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Em is survived by her children; sister, Ann Grimm; brother, Robert Bruns; and cat, Sara.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Roper; and her parents, Evelyn and Herman Bruns.
