Madeline Marie Stevens

She married James Stevens on February 2, 1960. They were married 51 years until Jim died in 2011.

Madeline bore one daughter, Deborah (Gary) Hillis, by her first husband, Jerry Fisher. James had two children from his first marriage: a son, James Gregory "Greg" (Rosa) Stevens, and a daughter, Michele "Shelly" (Jeff) Hampton. Together they made a family! Deborah had two children: Faith (Ryan) Putnam and Jared Hillis. Faith gave Madeline four great-grandchildren: Seth, Chloe, Madison, and Hailey. Shelly has two daughters: Emily (Joseph) Salerno and Olivia (Brett) Fenski. Greg has a daughter, Alexis, and three step-children he raised as his own: Stephanie, Salvador, and Stacy. Alexis had two daughters: Kianna and Ariel. Recently, she heard news of Logan Salerno, and Wrenly and Luke Fenski. These people were her special gifts and treasures whom she adored!

Madeline was preceded in death by her four brothers and their wives: Carl Jr., John, Joe, and David, and her sister Imogene Reed.

Madeline loved and followed the Lord Jesus all her life. She loved writing poems and songs about His love. She will always be remembered with joy and love by her many nieces and nephews.

An 11 AM Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday, November 5th at the Allnutt Drake Chapel located at 650 W Drake Road in Fort Collins. Reception to follow. A graveside service is scheduled for May 2023 in Indiana. Please check back for details closer to that time.
