John was born January 12, 1941 in Polk County, Arkansas to Fay and Ellowee Crutchfield. He graduated from Laporte High School in 1960 and served in the Army until 1963. He married Lynne on November 23, 1964 in Fort Collins, Colorado. John worked as a yard supervisor at Woodward Governor for 25 years and retired in 2003. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coin collecting.
John is survived by his two children, Vicki (Clay) Kersey and Robert (Alaina) Crutchfield; his five grandchildren, Sophi Falcone, Savannah Falcone, Sierra Falcone, Carter Kersey, and Clinton Kersey; and his brothers, Kenneth (Marie) Crutchfield and Donnie (Shelda) Crutchfield. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Crutchfield, and son, John David Crutchfield.
A celebration of life service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado on March 7th, 2020 from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Fund or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Northern Colorado.
