Don Miller, 66 of Fort Collins, CO entered into eternal rest, Saturday July 6th, 2013. He was born on October 28th, 1946 in Fort Collins CO and is the son of Katherine & Gene Miller of Fort Collins, CO. He lived in Fort Collins almost all his life. He met his wife Pam at the end of his military service and they were married on December 16th, 1967 in Marlin Texas. He resided in Texas when he was in the Army and while in College at Texas Technical Institution where he graduated with an Associates Degree in Computer Science in 1971.
Don & Pam were happily married for 46 years. They have two sons Jeff & Chris and three grandchildren Jerrod, Melanie and Isabella. Don & Pam enjoyed visiting Estes Park, CO, Branson, MO and enjoyed doing woodworking projects together. Don's true joys in life were his sons and grandchildren.
In his spare time Don loved photography, reading, woodworking projects, collecting tools and preparing all year long to make sure each Christmas was the most memorable for his family and friends. The more creative and unique that the present was, the more joy it brought to Don being the giver to, and the more joy it brought to the person receiving.
Don worked at Woodward Governor for 35 years. He had the up most pride in his job and loved all the people he worked with dearly. They were like his second family. Don was a prankster and made sure that there was never a dull moment with his co-workers.
Don was preceded in death by his dad, Gene Miller and grandparents, Leslie & Beulah Johnson. Don is survived by his wife Pam Miller of Fort Collins, CO; son Jeff Miller and wife Tammy and grandchildren Jerrod & Melanie, of Parker, CO; son Chris Miller and wife Natalie and grandchild Isabella, of Springfield, MO; mother Katherine Miller, of Fort Collins, CO; brother Duane Miller & wife Jean, of Fort Collins, CO; sister Wanda Bock & husband Rich, of Windsor, CO; brother Dwight Miller & wife Diana of Fort Collins, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Don's family would like to especially thank Dr. Anne Kinard with Cancer Center of the Rockies and Pathway Hospice for the overflow of love and special care the showered onto Don and also onto his family during this time.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday July 13th, 2:00 pm at Harmony Presbyterian Church, 400 E Boardwalk, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
