We mournfully announce the passing of Yin Ham Pan, 77, of Little Elm, TX. Yin passed away on April 24th, after a hard fought battle with high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, CHF and complications from COVID-19.
Yin, born to Tho and Mae, took her first breath on May 5, 1943 in Pailin, Cambodia. She sought refuge in the United States after fleeing the Cambodian genocide. She was able to overcome her struggles, living a full and vibrant life with more family and friends than you could count… including the early years with the love of her life, Thun Tin Pan, by her side.
When Yin retired from being a seamstress and gemologist, she devoted most of her time to gardening, traveling, cooking, and dedicating her life to the Buddhist culture. She also spent most of her days making sure she was up to date with family and friends through phone and video calls daily.
Surviving Yin are her daughter, Min Tin Seng of Little Elm, TX; her sons, Lin Tin of Little Elm, Vanna Tin of Long Beach, CA, and Ly Bun Tin “Bunly” of Lake Dallas, TX.
