Sharon is survived by one child, Edward K Hess and three granddaughters, Skylar Hess, Harper Hess and Piper Hess. Sharon also leaves behind her husband's children, Vicky Hess, Cindy Lechowski and families.
Sharon was born in the mid-20th century in a busy and vibrant Chicago, Illinois. Sharon worked as secretary for Mayor J. Daley of Chicago, Illinois and Mayor M. Bilandic of Chicago, Illinois. Sharon then worked for Tyson Foods in Springdale, Arkansas for over two decades where she held various management roles. Sharon then transitioned to healthcare management in Dallas Ft-Worth, Texas, where she serviced regional doctors and companies such as CVS, United Healthcare and Optum. She always took pride in helping her customers and associates. Her friendship among peers will be greatly missed. Sharon loved her son and her three granddaughters more than anything and was always available to them regardless of her often busy schedule. Sharon always made time to care for and help her family. Sharon also leaves behind many friends from different parts of the world that she attracted and loved over 76 years. She will be missed by many personally, as well as professionally.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Arthur Kaub Harvey, her mother Helen Rose Kirk, her sister Patricia Harvey, her brother Alan Spencer Harvey and her husband Edward Eugene Hess. Sharon was also preceded in death by her dogs, Athena and Dallas.
A graveside funeral and celebration of life for Sharon is scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:30 PM CST, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Edward at the Dallas Ft-Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a cause Sharon cared greatly about at the National Kidney Foundation via www.kidney.org
