Gilberto Sanchez

On February 11, 1961, Gilberto married the love of his life Mary Rosales. Together, with their four children, they built a beautiful life. He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. After he retired from the USAF, he then enjoyed a fulfilling career as an engineer with Texas Instruments before retiring a second time. Gilberto was also a member of Lifeway Church in Celina, Texas where he truly enjoyed the fellowship and connections he made with the community.

Gilberto loved his family dearly. He believed that what really matters in life is the quality of your character and instilled the importance of having strong values into the lives of his kids and grandkids. He was the most loving, gentle and kindhearted man.

Gilberto Sanchez leaves behind a selfless legacy. He touched the hearts of many. Gilberto was such a giving man and took a deep pride in helping not only family, but also friends and neighbors in any way he could.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gilberto is survived by his wife Mary Sanchez; children: Rossana Sanchez, Gilbert (Dawn) Sanchez, Jaime (Shylene) Sanchez, and Vanessa Sanchez-Hubert; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five surviving brothers and three sisters.

A celebration of life and memorial service for Gilberto will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas 75034.
