Edward Albert Williams was born on January 25, 1941 to Charley Williams, Jr. and Rosa Mae Beo. He was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada after finishing high school. Edward will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and husband. He was very outgoing, loved to entertain, and loved to dance. He loved music and would let the beat move him.
Edward, also known as “Strict”, was married to his beautiful wife for more than 50 years. From their union, they had five children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Edward was a member of the Culinary Union Local 226 for more than 50 years until retiring to Princeton, Texas in 2007. Edward greatly loved providing for his family, home-cooked meals, watching wrestling, football, and old westerns.
Edward is preceded in death by his wife Leona Williams, his father, Charley Williams, Jr., and his mother Rosa Mae McKinney. He is survived by his brother, Ronnie McKinney; his children, Paula Curtis, Rose Williams-White (Michael White), Myra Williams, Kimberly Williams (Supreme Justice), and Timika Williams.
