Donna Lee Bates

Donna Lee Bates was born on February 9, 1950 to Albert and Lena Sager in Paramus, NJ. She attended Riverdale High school in 1968 and was going to flight steward school after graduation. She married the love of her life, Bill Bates on December 27, 1969 and soon had two boys. Brian and Matthew loved to fish and hunt with their Grandfather growing up, but both boys loved their mother dearly and she was very involved with their sports activities and education.

Always willing to share her love and help anyone in need, Donna was devoted to her family and always made sure they were happy. She enjoyed interacting with friends and neighbors, so her joy was in Marketing but gardening was her most favorite hobby.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Bates of Frisco, TX; sister, Nancy Topka of Sparta, WI; sons, Brian Bates of Garland, TX and Matthew Bates and his wife Leigh, of Highland Village, TX; grandchildren, Miranda Bates of McKinney, TX, Teague Bates of Highland Village, TX and Jackson Bates of Highland Village, TX; greatgrandchild Caydence Bates; and her Beagle PJ.

Donna was loved while she was with us here on earth and will be continued to be loved through time and all eternity.
