He is survived by his wife, Karen Wright of McKinney, TX; son, Bruce Wright II of McKinney, TX; daughter, Brooke Wright of McKinney, TX; niece Kelly Pickard of Houston, TX; cousins, David Milton, Jr of Nederland, TX, Summer Milton of Seattle, WA; his beloved dog Jojo and many friends and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Bridges; step-father Horace Bridges; brother Mike Graham; cousin Cindy Milton and various grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Bruce was born November 15, 1963 in Houston, TX to Patricia Bridges. He received his Bachelor's degree from Texas State University and worked for ITG Brands for the past 17 years.
Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humor; he would make anything into a joke. He will also be remembered by all as an avid Houston sports fan, including the Texans, Rockets and Astros. He enjoyed coaching his kids in their younger years and other young athletes. Many of them remember his mentorship & leadership on and off the field. Bruce loved to spend time with his family and go to casinos, concerts, sporting events, He also loved playing golf, and he and he had a love for Mexican food like no other.
He always called his son “kid” and Brooke “honey” and you would often hear him saying “love ya kid’ or “love ya honey”
Visitation will be held Friday, January 5th from 6pm-9pm and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Bruce will be held Saturday, January 6th at 10am at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, TX. Pastor John McKinzie will officiate.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Foundation in Bruce’s name. It is rare cancer that more need people need to be aware of.
