She enjoyed family life on the vineyards in the Biola-Kerman area for over 60 years.
Verna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Lung; and brother, Don Steitz.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Perkins and husband Inman; son, Jim and wife Marilyn; son Brian; sister, Darlene Badella; grandchildren, Scott and Jared Perkins, Erin, Amber and Brad and wife Sarah Lung; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
