Shirley Ann Sudden

She moved to Fresno, CA as a young girl and graduated from Fresno High School in 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper for Josephine's Furniture, Fresno Lumber & Mendes Western Wear for a combined 60 years. Teaching was a passion for her so after her retirement, she became a teacher’s aide for McKinley Elementary.

She will be dearly missed by the family she leaves behind. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Allen; son Steve Leavitt & wife Barbara; sister Vesta Yost & husband Bill; brothers Herb Helzer & wife Patricia, Clark Helzer & partner Maralyn; grandchildren James Allen, Lisa Cumiford, Jake Leavitt & Brian Leavitt; great-grandson Brendan Cumiford; and her "babies" Molly, Buddy & Bo. Plus many extended family & friends.

She was greeted in heaven by her deceased husband Donald Sudden & her mother Hazel Skeeters. We're sure they are showing her the beauty, peace & love that it has to offer.

Visitation is at Lisle Funeral Home Tuesday July 1, 2014 from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

Graveside services will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Wednesday July 2, at 10:00am.
