Mom, I finally made it to Northern Africa and I trust that your spirit was with me all the way.  I trekked over the land that your father’s ancestors traveled. Morocco is full of rich history. It was an emotional trip for me. I wish that you and I could have made this trip together in 2005. I understand so much more now and I felt at home among the Berbers. I made great friends.  Your love is my heart.❤️

My sincere condolences to the Turner family and the loss of their Dear Mother and as I know her as Auntie Ruth. I was so looking forward to the day when I would walk into church and she would be sitting there and she would beckon for me to sit right next to her. I have spent many days on a Sunday sitting next to her and it was especially loving and kind, comforting to have the opportunity to enjoy services with her. She would squeeze my hand when she would see something funny or we would both be struggling trying to find the scriptures fast enough. I'm so grateful to have shared a little bit of time with her.
