Rodney Hicks was born on June 5, 1947 in Hanford, CA to James and Evelynne Hicks. Rodney graduated in 1965 from Fresno High. He enlisted in the Navy in 1966 and served aboard the USS Prairie. After leaving the Navy, Rodney worked for many years in the construction arena. Throughout his lifetime, Rodney was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed amateur photography and things that go fast.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelynne Hicks, and brother Richard Hicks.
Rodney is survived by former wives, Darlene J. Gillet and Judy Simpson; children, Diane, Christopher, Shawn and Jessica; sisters Janis Patch and Meredith Hicks. Rodney was a proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Belmont Memorial Park.
