Richard J. Guimond was born on March 19, 1929 in Faribault, Minn. He came to California when he was 14 and never left. Throughout his life he was an amazing husband, to Beverly for 34 years, and then to Carol for the next 25 years. He was also a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He believed in family and taking care of business. He was in the Air Force where he spent most of his time overseas during the Korean War.
He is survived by his two children, son, Richard J. Guimond Jr., daughter, Cynthia L. Guimond and six grandchildren, Stephanie and Garret Miller, Jason Guimond and Rosie Klapac, Barbara Bailey, Socheata and Richard Chavez, Tyler Guimond and Vickey Murillo, Linda Guimond and Thong Pham. Also four great grandchildren, Bennett Miller, Ricky and Roman Chavez, and Landon Pham.
He was loved by lots and will be missed by many. Fly high and rest in peace daddy. “We love you to the moon and back.”
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at the Lisle Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Lisle Funeral Home. Interment to follow Fresno Memorial Gardens.
