Ramona was a homemaker that volunteered her time as well as her heart. She volunteered at CASA as a parent advocate. She was passionate about reuniting families that have been separated. Ramona organized and facilitated a women’s substance abuse self-help group. She would organize car washes and bake sales to help members of her group with groceries, supplies for their children or help pay bills. Ramona’s aspiration was to assist and uplift those in need.
She is survived by her loving husband, Fred De La Rosa; her children, Arthur Sotelo, Michael Ornelas, Crystal Ornelas, Moses Ornelas and Joshua Alcaraz; her siblings, Prescilia Roman, Valentine Ornelas, Manuel Ornelas and Eddie Ornelas; 12 grandchildren; and dozens of cousins, nephews and nieces.
