Ramiro Gomez

Ramiro Gomez, 71 of Sanger CA. passed away from his life on earth into eternal life on October 21, 2021. Ramiro was born in Donna Texas and later resided in Sanger, CA where he attended Sanger High, graduating class of 1970.

Ramiro also worked at the VA in Fresno, Ca. He was a veteran who served in the United States Marines from March 11, 1971 to February 25th, 1976. During his military service his highest rank was (E-5) sergeant. His duty stations included Camp Pendleton, Ca , Iwakuni, Japan, Marine Corps air station, Beaufort, SC. Ramiro received an honorable discharge and completed one tour of military service.

He is survived by his daughter Erika Gomez-Mares of Reedley, CA. his son John Gomez of Sanger CA. and his siblings Juan Gomez and Irma Fuentes of Fresno CA. Yolanda Esparza and Sylvia Sanchez of Texas. Ramiro had 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Daughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Eduardo Fuentes, Christian Michael Mares, Eric John Mares, Henry H. Goff Sr., Andrew Schillaci and Joshua Gomez-Castro.
