Nicholas, (Nick) was born in Fresno California. He attended San Joaquin Memorial and was an alumnus of Fresno State. After graduating from Fresno State, he devoted 36 years of his life to his passion for education and was known and loved in both Central Unified and Fresno Unified School Districts. He focused particularly on disadvantaged schools and enjoyed serving and bettering the community. Nick returned to Fresno Unified post-retirement to substitute as an administrator to fill a need during the pandemic which added delight to his already joyful life.
Nick was able to enjoy life through golf, tennis, basketball, literature, poetry, poker, video games with grandkids, family trips, food and all things fun. He looked forward to gatherings with friends and family and always made room at his table for them to share memories and plenty of laughter.
Above all, Nick was dedicated and devoted to his family that he was tremendously proud of. Nick will lovingly be remembered and missed by his wife of 52 years, Rosemary and his five children; Nicholas, Stephan (Susanne), Andrea (Brandon), Matthew (Lisa) and Anna (Greg). Nick will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Alyssa, Ava, Dominic, Vincent, Lucca, Elizabeth, Lauren, Salvatore, Leo and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his grand daughter Emme.
