Nathan Zanoni, Jr. was born in Madera, CA to Rachael and Nathan Zanoni. He grew up on the family ranch on Avenue 13. Nathan attended St. Joachim Catholic School and went on to graduate from Madera High School.
After graduation he worked for two years on the ranch and then decided to go into the service. He served in the Coast Guard during the Korean War. Returning to Madera he then went to Fresno State College graduating with a degree in Business and Accounting. Nathan continued his studies receiving his Real Estate license and then his Insurance license.
In his free time he would go hunting and fishing. Nathan was an active member of the North Fresno Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Serra Club, and the Dante Club where he loved to play Bocce Ball.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel; his father, Nathan; uncle, Joe; his first cousin, Daniel Mattrocce; and uncle, Rocky Mattrocce.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, John and his wife Jennifer, and Nate; three grandchildren, Rose, John and Joe; his cousins, Yvonne Mattrocce of Fresno, David Mattrocce of Madera, Tom Mattrocce of Tasmania, Danny Mattroce of New York and Janice Passanese of San Francisco.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
