Michael Thomas Kearney

Michael graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School Class of 1972 and continued his education at California State University, Fresno where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Michael started Kearneys' Metals Inc. in 1984, a stainless steel and aluminum company where he was respected and loved by all whom he came into contact with. He was an avid golfer which he played competitively, with friends, parents, and countless rounds with his son, Kevin, at his home course Sunny- side Country Club. He was the best Dad, Brother, Son, Uncle, Cousin, Husband, and Friend that any of us could have ever asked for. His main goal in life was to be sure that everyone around him wore a large smile which he could easily accomplish via his uncanny ability to tell a funny joke or story. To know Mike, is to love Mike. We love you MTK, long live The King.

He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Kjersti Lee Cousins Kearney.

Michael is survived by his three children, Kendra, Kaarin, and Kevin Kearney; his parents Gary and Helen Kearney; his sisters, Kathy Kearney and Christine Christiansen; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
