Mrs. Mary Ann Pruett

She was a woman who overcame many struggles to complete her LVN education, to purchase her own home in a time when it wasn't the norm, and to endure many personal losses of those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles O'Day; ex-husband, Hillard Pruitt, Les Herndon; and the love of her life, Gary F. Pruett. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth C. and Erdine Cantrell; her oldest son, Jimmy O'Day; her daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Margie and Olivia Pruitt; her brother, Kenneth Cantrell; and her sister, Beverly Hahnlein.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Isaacs; sons, Ken Pruitt and his wife Becky, and Ernest Pruitt; grandchildren, David, Mavis, Leona, Heather, Ben, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Jason and Shawna, and their families; Jimmy's son, Chris and his family; her surviving siblings, Loretta, Shirley, Jerry, Linda, Nadine, Lou Ellen, Kathy, and Candace, and their families; and the families of Kenneth and Beverly.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, November 16, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery in Dinuba, CA.
