Mario Ovalle Moreno, born on October 28, 1964, in Fresno, California, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 60. An inspirational, kind-hearted, and selfless spirit, Mario touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
He was educated at the California School for the Deaf in both Berkeley and Fremont and went on to graduate from Pierce College in Los Angeles. Mario's journey was one of love, dedication, and generosity.
Mario's memory will forever remain in the hearts of his surviving family: his devoted wife of 22 years, Tamara, and his loving son, Zachary. His legacy endures in his beloved unborn daughter, Faith Hope Moreno. Surviving siblings include Racine Moreno and Liz Moreno, both of Fresno, CA; Frank Moreno of Colorado Springs, CO; and Micheal Moreno of San Diego, CA.
Mario is also cherished by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents, Joe and Juanita Moreno, preceded him in death.
Services to celebrate Mario's life will take place on December 20, 2024. A visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, located at 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 93706, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. This will be followed by a committal service at Fresno Memorial Gardens, located at 175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, from 11:30 am to noon.
Warrior of love and humility, Mario will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know him. His spirit continues to illuminate the lives of his family and community, as well as future generations he inspires.
