Lupe was born and raised in Fresno, CA. She was retired as a Food Preparer for Fresno Unified School District. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jesus Rangell and survived by her daughter, Janice Beltran of Fresno; her son Craig Rangell and his wife Renea of Battleground, WA. Lupe was also preceded by her brother Alvino Medina and sister Beatrice Pickett. She is survived by siblings Bertha Perez, Dolores Medina, Rachel Chacon, Peter Medina and Hope Zamarripa, all of Fresno. She is also survived by her grandchildren who loved her dearly, Eric Beltran, Michael Beltran and his wife Cindy, Amanda Lambert-Martinez and her husband Garrett, Craig Rangell II and his wife Jennifer, Carmen Rangell, Conrad Rangell, Austin Rangell and Ava Rangell; and also two great-grandchildren, Giovanni Beltran and Ryleigh Rangell.
The family wishes to give their greatest and warmest gratitude to the Sisters and all the staff who lovingly cared and comforted her during her years at the Nazareth House, especially during her last days.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Pauda Catholic Church on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
