Lupe Perez was born February 9, 1944 in Fresno, CA and passed away April 24, 2018. Lupe was the oldest of six siblings born to Manuel and Carmen Fernandez. She attended school in Five Points and Riverdale CA.
She met her husband David in Five Points and moved to the State of Washington for a few years. Upon returning to Fresno, she was employed by the Fresno County Health Department as a Communicable Disease Specialist, retiring after 20 years.
Lupe was a kind and generous soul. She loved going to the coast and watching the ocean and was at peace and serene when she was with nature. Lupe was very spiritual and loved being an usher at St. Agnes Mission Church.
Lupe is preceded in death by her parents, son Senovio, and sister Esther. She is survived by her husband David, son Angel, daughter Janie, brothers Manuel, Jesse and Steve, her very close sister and best friend Mary, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation 4:00 to 7:00pm, and Rosary 7:00pm, May 7th at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Fresno.
