She will always be remembered for her kindness and love for sports, especially for Los Angeles Dodgers.
In 1968, Loretta married Carlos and together during their 45 years of marriage they shared many memories.
Loretta was the girl next door that caught Carlos eyes and heart.
She has one daughter, Cindy who she shared a bond so tight that they were more than a
mother-daughter relationship. Cindy misses her so much just like everyone else who lives she
has touch. I love you Mom and you are always in my heart!
She was employed with Gottschalks until they closed business. She then started the good
life of retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Soledad Maciel; brother, Kino Maciel;
and sisters, Helen Sambueso, Mary Camacho and Margaret Romo.
Loretta is survived by her husband Carlos and daughter Cindy; four sisters, Ida, MaryLou,
Connie and Josie; and her brother, Robert Maciel and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whitehurst, Sullivan Burns and Blair Funeral
Home.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine
of St. Therese, Fresno, Ca. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St.
Peter's Cemetery.
