I waited until your service to do this. I had many triggers while you were in the hospital. Took me back when your welito was ill. I want you to know what I saw yesterday was amazing. You had so many people show up for you to say their final farewell to you. You were so loved. You were so many things to your family and extended family.  Your family has a huge village that will help them through the loss of you. The empty space in our hearts will remain, however the love for you is constant.  RIP Big John, you will be deeply missed. Your death has left a hole in all our hearts that will not be able to close. You were the life of any family party we had. You were such a terrific storyteller and your jokes always cracked us up. I watched you grow up and become a man, a husband, a father of six, and a grandfather of one. My own kids loved being around you when we had our gatherings. We were blessed to have you for almost 42 years but it wasn't enough. We all expected you to come home to your home, your family. But, God had other plans for you. What consoles us is that you are no longer in pain. Your spirit is free. I know my son Xe and my dad are guiding you through the transition. May you rest in peace my beloved nephew.
