Janet graduated from Fresno High School in 1958.
She worked alongside her husband, John, both on the farm and running Palermo Motor Sales in Fresno.
She maintained many friendships with classmates from Fresno High and they would plan lunch gatherings on a regular basis.
She also enjoyed attending the activities of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John; and parents, Stephen and Olga Zetz.
She is survived by her son, Rick and his wife Marsha; step-daughters, Pam Workman and Stacie Valeriote and their families; and grandchildren, Steven and Miya.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Bums & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.
