A celebration of life for Jaime Alexander Rubi will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Fresno Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2980 E Yale Ave, Fresno, CA 93703.
Acknowledgements from the family of Jaime:
For the many cards with loving words, God’s promises and written prayers; the beautiful flowers and plants which brought happiness; for the phone calls when you cried with us and encouraged us; the multitude of emails with such concern and uplifting thoughts of how Jaime touched your heart; for the excellent food which changed our direction from sorrow to ooohs and aaaahs and smiles; and for the visits and for always telling us to lift up our eyes “from whence cometh our help’ and the soon Coming of Jesus. For the staff and members of different church departments and groups here at Fresno Central SDA Church who made our Memorial memorable. To all of you, a warm embrace of gratitude.
A warm thank you to our Pastor, Daniel Gouveia, for being there with us when our son passed. For our other Pastor David Pikop whose beautiful words and prayers lifted us up. To those who took part in the program with such faithfulness in the Celebration of Jaime’s Life. To Terri Lutz for not leaving our son alone during his transfer to the Mortuary. To Daniela Giangrande for design and printing. To Jason Obenauf and the staff at Stephens and Bean Mortuary. To Pam Madala for all her helps and reminding us of “stuff”. To many of you who chose to be with us even though you had to travel long distances. To my daughters, Lenore Rubi Munoz for arranging Jaime’s table of Pictures, and to my right and left hand, Susan Rubi-Alvarez who kept reminding me to “breathe” because Jesus was coming soon. To Michele Alvarez who assembled the slide project with music. To our son-in-law, David, who supported us, came out with bright plans and ideas and carried them through; and our grandchildren who came almost everyday to feed us and help us. To all of you and many more for this love you displayed. Gentle people, it took all of you during a crisis like this to save us from despair and bring us “Peace amidst the storm!”. We are indebted and not until the Great Resurrection Morning will we understand it all. Let us all strive with our families with faith in the grace of God to be there! Not one missing! Hold on! The Morning Cometh!
With gratitude, Alfred and Norma Montez and Families
