I met grant in high school (possibly 8th grade, but cannot confirm). My jr year Grant and I became friends at CART. Eventually we became team mates and even won some awards from the work that we and our fellow team mates did. I think of grant every time I hear Britney Spears circus and womanizer. Or when I go to Taco Bell, or even when I’m laughing so hard I can’t breath. Grant was truly a light in this world. An honest but kind soul and loyal friend. We drifted apart after high school but I would see him time for time when I would visit or at Christmas events. I wish we could have hung out more. Rest In Peace Grant. 

Grant was some one very special to me. He was a great friend and amazing person.   He had a way of lightning up a room without even speaking. You could hang out with Grant in complete silence and still know everything was okay. He had a comforting energy. I can even count how many times I would drop what I was doing and pick him up for quesadillas from Taco Bell. It’s hard to believe I will never hear that goofy laugh from Grant again. 

Even though I live on the east coast I had the pleasure of seeing Grant throughout the years. The first time was when Grant and Blaine were infants. I was impressed how Linda and Scott were juggling a life with twins! The second time he was very young and walked up to me and shook my hand.  Again I was impressed but that wouldn't do.  I had to sweep him up in a warm hug.  Even though my visits to Clovis/Fresno are never frequent enough I do my best to connect with the many special people in my life. This includes seeing Linda and the family.  It is with regret that I am unable to attend the memorial service.  Linda knows this and that I am holding her and the family deep in my heart. Grant you were a fine young man. RIP and enjoy your new adventure.

We become close friends fast my senior year at buchanan High. From the moment we met to the end of that  year we were inseparable. You had the same energy and sense of humor as me and we were never void of laughter. And when we got into disagreements they were explosive because we had to both be right of course, haha but we always forgave each other after a moment of stubborn silence. I am saddened  we were taken in different directions in life and did not remain as close. You will be so missed so much forever. ❤️ 

So sorry to hear one of our daughter's classmates passed away so early in his beautiful life. He was a neighbor and often came with his brother and dog to summer pool parties on Chickadee Lane where we all lived east of Clovis. Saddened beyond words.
