Gilberto Luis Romero, age 82, of Fresno, California passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Gilberto is survived by his son Luis Romero; his son Gilbert Romero Jr.; his son Esteven Romero; his daughter Rebecca Romero; his son Raul Romero; his daughter Velia Romero; his daughter Liliana Romero; his daughter Sandy Romero; and his daughter Belen Sanchez; his sister Julia Cardenas and his sister Rosario Ibarra; 27 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Gilberto was preceded in death by his son; Gilbert Romero III.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 3:00 pm and a rosary service at 7:00 pm, at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Funeral Mass will occur Friday, May 26, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa st, Fresno, CA 93721. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W/ Belmont Ave, Fresno, California 93728.

Serving as pallbearers are Luis Romero, Gilbert Romero Jr., Raul Romero, Esteven Romero, Sandy Romero, Omar Ceja, Antonio Ramirez, Humberto Garcia, J.C. Espinosa, Jack Servantes, Mike Servantes, Andrew Romero, Adrian Romero, Gilbert Romero IV, Humberto Garcia Jr. and Phillip Ibarra.
