Gary was preceded in death by his sisters Carriebell, Helen and his brother Ralph.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Brenda Shumake and Melanie Chacon; his grandsons Anthony and David; granddaughters Mia and Isabella; and great granddaughters Gloria, Giannie, Samantha and great-grandson Luca. Gary is also survived by his siblings, James, Earl, Larry, John, Richard, Lois, Iva, Kathryn and Norma. Gary also leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
