Cant' believe it's been a year already.  I still miss you every day. 💕

To one of my oldest friends...over 50 years. I miss you, so much of you. I will think of you always with a smile...such a great man. So blessed to have had you as my friend...I sometimes call you Papa as that is how you introduced me to our lord and savior. My prayers to "Papa" now are meant for you and I know you hear me. We will meet again and knowing that gives me comfort. Love you Papa!

Pastor Gary has been a part of mine and my family's life's for many years. I started attending First Baptist Church back in 1995. That is where I met Gary. One day while in Church I was ready to give my life to Jesus, Pastor Gary led me in the sinners prayer. Which he has done for many people. He played a big role in my life and all of my family's life's as well. He was not only a Pastor but also a friend and family. His work on Earth is done. He has touched many souls and will be truly missed by many. God bless the family and our prayers are with you. Love April and family 

I am so saddened by the Loss of Gary.  We started our career at Mental Health close together and our paths crossed many times in many phases of our personal and professional lives.  He was a man of integrity and strength.  A friend whom you could count on.  I will miss you Gary, our lunches, our conversations, our strong disagreements (we could and did butt heads lol) that never overshadowed our friendship and the adventures you included me in (you learning to surf for one).  Rest in Peace 🙏 ❤

The journey of our friendship,  the meaning of being a christian and becoming one, the baptism, the pastoral at my true soul mate Rock, the music we tried and often did. Laughing, crying, talking without saying a word, the training of being a humble crisis worker. I could go on and on. Gary my tears are for your place in heaven. The tears of joy for our friendship. 

I and so thankful to have known Gary, and will cherish the memories I have of him.  He was my good friend and companion.  We spent endless hours walking and talking about any and every subject there is.  God blessed him with a brilliant mind and with the talent to share his knowledge.  He was a spiritual pillar of strength for me.  You always said you couldn't wait to meet Jesus...rest with him now my friend.  We will meet again someday.

I was given the honor and privilege of being hired by Gary 21 years ago. I was trained by him and respected and admired him so much. He truly had compassion, grace, mercy and patience with the chronically severe mentally ill. His passion and commitment was unmatched. Rest in Christ my dear friend ❤ 🙏 💔.  I love you Gary. 

I remember Gary as a committed employee of Mental Health. I nicknamed him Mr. Company Man. Always on a mission. Always on the go. Had a big smile and a loud voice. 
Rest my friend. Your Heavenly Father has called  you home. We may think that it’s too soon but God has spoken and wanted you to rest in his everlasting arms. Rest In Peace. Your work on earth is done. 

I will miss you Gary we go way back and I have a lot of great memories. I will miss you Friend, very much.

Thank you for being in our lives throughout the years. You were always a wonderful, kind and thoughtful man.  Sonny will miss you tremendously as will the rest of our family. Thank you for presiding over our son's wedding.  No one could have done it better. You were one class act. You were gone too soon.
