He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Lillian Hokr and brothers Ludovic Filgas and Alex Maslowski.
Frank served in the Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict, where he was involved in communications. Afterward He was employed by Pacific Telephone for 33 years. He had a passion for softball. His position on the various teams he played was pitcher. He was quite good and was sought after by different teams. He was also known for his skill in backyard barbequing. He was very good at fixing things around the house. After he retired, he did quite a bit of handyman work for various people. He loved the outdoors and loved to go hunting, fishing and camping. He will be missed by many as he was very friendly and had many, many friends.
Frank had a strong Christian faith as evidenced by his involvement in the church and in service organizations including Sokol and Knights of Columbus.
Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Jean Pilegard Maslowski; children Suzanne Gray and her husband Chris of Fresno, Reverend Timothy Maslowski and his wife Miriam of Olive Branch, MS, Keith Maslowski of Reno, NV, and Daphne Clark and her husband Rod of Fresno; grandsons Andrew Maslowski of Sacramento and Joshua Campos of Fresno; sister Helen Maslowski Holecek of Fresno; and brother Tom Maslowski and his wife Elaine of Sanger, brother in law Frank Hokr of Fresno and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:00 am.
