Eleanora Buckhammer, age 95, loving mother of son, Ronald Buckhammer, and daughter, Gail Van Schaik, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Twilight Haven in Fresno, California, her adopted home since 2006.
She was a 1936 graduate of Fresno High School; and a housewife and devoted mother throughout her life. She lost her husband, Alexander in 1961, who died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Eleanora was the daughter of Adam and Christina Steinhauer.
She was preceded by her brother, Edward Steinhauer; and sisters, Frieda Bier and Thelma Ruby.
A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.
