His parents are Elvin and Helen McGowan of Fresno. He attended Morris Dailey School and graduated from Fresno High School.
Dennis worked at his fathers auto parts store for six years and later at Anderson-Clayton Cotton Company until it closed.
He is was dependable person, always willing to help. He liked to go fishing and liked old cars. All of the McGowan family will miss him very much.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Bruce of San Dimas, Ca., Brad of Madera, Ca.; and his son, Chris of Fresno, Ca.
