 Dave it was such an easy-going laid-back kind of quiet man but very hard-working. I admire the way that he took care of his family and loved his wife he was such an amazing man and I’m so glad I got to know him and I think my cousin was very fortunate to find this love with him and for them to have it as long as they did and made it last forever for them ,amen

David Cervantes was a great boss I will remember him as such a great person him and his wife violet were our god parents for my wedding ... may god bless his family he will never be forgotten 

The first time that I meet David and my cousin Leilani(Violet) was just after I lost my blood mother when I was called in Hawaii and was notified that she had gone into a diabetic coma and had to come back to the mainland as I was the next of kin to help with and relieve her of from the stress of her life. David and Leilani drove up toReno then another 50 miles to meet me and give me support in the matter that had been assigned to me after having only met my blood mother barley a decade before, David was so very supportive and helpful to me in a time of great need. Then when I saw this very disturbing news, I about lost it. I still have not been able to talk to Leilani but I hope that her and her children know how much ALOHA I am sending their way from both Dennis and I 💕

David Cervantes was a class act  from the time I was 5 years old to my adulthood. He was genuine and part of my life.  I'm honored to have known him and the Cervantes family. My heart goes out to Violet and family. My deepest condolences to brother Gabe, brother Robert, Rosie, brother Tom, my comrade and brother Phillip and brother Larry.  May he join his mom in our heaven above. Steve Sanders and family.  

The news of David’s passing is heartbreaking. We’ve known David from the beginning when he started his truss business. We were fortunate enough to be their plate supplier. In all my years in the industry we have never met anyone as kind and a blessing as David.  No matter how his business was doing  he was always the same pleasant, uplifting, and inspiring David.  He was much more than a customer he was my friend, On many occasions when we needed a word of encouragement he would say the right thing, laugh or just give me that big beautiful smile.  We took Baird , now the leader of our company, to meet David last year. We wanted him to meet the Cervantes and see the people who helped us get started and be successful in our business.  But more importantly to experience how to run a business with patience and grace. how to be kind to others  and the meaning of true friendship. 

On behalf of my family and everyone at Eagle we send our sincere sympathy and love to Violet, Gabe, and the Cervantes family.  May God give you comfort and strength in the days ahead and know how much we loved David.
