Daniel R. Hernandez

kingdom. He was born in La Verne California on August 26,1933, the

sixth child of twelve. Daniel will finally be reunited with his parents

Juan and Jesus, his sisters Maria, Camerina, Belen, Rose Mary, and Rita,

his daughter in law Rochele, and granddaughter Danica.

He attended Fresno City College and was one semester shy of a BA at

Fresno State University. He served his country with the US Army as a

Medical Specialist. He had 31 successful years with the U.S. Postal

Service. He was musical, playing the cornet in elementary school, drums

at Riverdale High, and the bugle in the Army. During his retirement

years he started to write stories of his life growing up with a big family

and starting his own family.

He regrets to leaves behind his beloved wife Esther of 53 years. He says

it was a whirlwind romance, marrying 4 months after their first date at

Dodger Stadium. His sons Danny of Sparks NV., Ruben of Lemoore,

Ca., Tony and his wife Nicole of Fresno, Ca., and daughter Monica

DeLeon and husband John of Fresno, Ca. His beloved grandchildren,

Bailey, AJ, Logan, Jorja, Ava, Samantha, Ruben, John, Isaac, Isabella,

Michael Daniel, and Nicholas. His beloved siblings, Robert, Teresa

Valdez, Louie, Tomas, Maggie Hernandez, and John. Many nieces,

nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Our beloved Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle will be

profoundly missed, and remain in our memory and hearts always.
