Cynthia was born on December 15th, 1933, in Berkeley CA to Horace and Virginia Charlesworth.
Cynthia was born and raised in Berkeley CA, where she enjoyed an idyllic childhood, a wonderful neighborhood and excellent schooling.
After high school, Cynthia started her college courses at the University of California Berkeley but later moved to Fresno with her family and finished her degree at Fresno State with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Cynthia met her future husband Robert L. Binger while attending Fresno State and they were eventually married with a ceremony in Carmel California on February 11th, 1956.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father and mother Horace and Virginia Charlesworth and her husband Robert L. Binger.
Cynthia is survived by her brother Stephen Charlesworth, her children and grandchildren, Kathryn Iwasaki, and her daughter Lauren Iwasaki, Robert L. Binger JR, and his children Carl Binger, Michael Binger, and Stephanie Ghimenti and Kristina Buenger and her daughter Chelsea Saville. Cynthia also had one great grandchild, Reese Ghimenti.
A private family service was held at Belmont Memorial Park on Friday, September 9th, 2022.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the SPCA or Hinds Hospice in Fresno.
