Corrine Lamb was born in Topeka, Kansas on November 7, 1935 and passed away in Fresno, California on August 15, 2019, on the Feast Day of the Assumption of Mary. She was married to Harold to Lamb for 53 years until his passing in 2011.
Corrine worked for the Telephone Company, Bank of America early in her career. She later worked for Community Hospital and Central California Medical Group (CCFMG) as a manager of billing departments and specialized in computer billing systems. Until her health declined, Corrine was always lending a hand to someone in need. Even in ill health, she helped other people in any way she could. She found great joy in her grandchildren and spent a lot of time helping to care for them. She loved going out to eat, playing computer games, and decorating her home.
She is survived three children, Charise Hansen, Mike Lamb and Darin Lamb, granddaughters Lindsey Owens, Shaine Mears, Sarah Lamb and grandson Cole Hansen, and great-grandchildren, Lola Haun, Amelia Owens, Dane Owens and Hudson Mears and by sisters Juanita Bennett and Sandra Mader.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Rose Mader and brothers, Kenneth Mader and Norman Mader.
Thank you to those who helped mom the last six years of her life. To her neighbors, we are grateful for your love and care, and those that spent time with her as Caregivers and St. Agnes and Hinds Hospice Caregivers. Your special touch in her life made her very happy. She called many of you friends.
