The world lost a bright soul on Sunday January 7, 2024 when Cassandra Marie Cedillo left her earthly body to make her journey home.
Cassandra was an absolute blessing when she was born to Debbie Rompal and Edward Cedillo on October 19, 1986 and instantly became best friends with her big brother Christopher. Cassandra had a happy childhood filled with lots of love from all her cousins and family. Through her younger years she enjoyed playing soccer and cheerleading. Upon high school graduation Cassandra went on to attain her cosmetology license. She had a passion for style and fashion and worked in the industry in some facet until her passing. Cassandra discovered true meaning of heaven on earth when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Leah on October 7, 2010. After having Leah Cassandra immediately knew she wanted nothing more in life than to dedicate herself to being the best mother to her daughter that she could be. Cassandra spent the last 13 years of life happily and lovingly taking Leah to modeling events, dance classes, photo shoots and above all shopping. She was always Leah’s biggest cheerleader and the two were inseparable. In Cassandra’s 37 years she touched many people’s lives and showed dedication and loyalty in all that she did. After following in her mother’s footsteps, Cassandra took an interest in accounting and went on to be a very successful and loyal employee for both Holt Lumber, Inc and Agri-Valley Irrigation, Inc. In her 13 years at Agri-Valley Irrigation she helped out in all areas and became an asset to all departments. She was known for being the back bone for the accounting and finance department. Cassandra loved to travel and experience new things and fell in love with San Francisco and Utah. She also enjoyed family vacations in Bass Lake, Hawaii, Disneyland and she especially loved visiting her family in the Bay Area and rooting for her San Francisco 49ers. In Cassandra’s adult years she found time spent with family to be of the utmost importance and also considered her closest friends her family. She shared an incredible bond with her family and friends. Loyal to the end, Cassandra leaves behind many devastated family members and loved ones. Our hearts truly are broken. Cassandra’s bright light and spirit will shine on through her daughter and our cherished memories.
She was proceeded in passing by her grandparents Shon and Helen Rompal and Edward Cedillo Sr. She is survived by her daughter Leah Jordan, mother Debbie Rompal, father Edward Cedillo, brother Christopher Cedillo and grandmother Emmy Finley and many aunts, uncle and cousins.
