Carmel V. Serros

Carmel Louise Bejarano Serros was born to the union of Ralphael and Angela Vasquez Bejarano on August 25, 1917 in Patagonia, Arizona. In 1939, Carmel married Servando Richard Serros in Fresno, California. She and Servando traveled around the world, visiting places such as Switzerland and the Holy Land. Carmel worked as a librarian at the Fresno County Library, Clovis branch for forty years. Carmel and Richard were married for 74 years, until his passing on May 11, 2013. She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Fresno and the Bay Area.

A visitation for Carmel will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. A rosary will occur Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 4:00 PM, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. A funeral mass will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 E Champlain Dr, Fresno, CA 93730. A committal service following the funeral mass will occur at St Peters Cemetery, 264 N Blyth Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
