Carlos Robert Marquez Perez

Carlos was born in San Jose, CA and graduated from San Jose High School in 1972. After moving to Fresno, he opened Oficinas Marquez, and had a successful career as an immigration consultant. He changed many lives during the course of his work and through his generosity. He was an avid animal lover, enjoyed traveling, and was always a great host. More than anything, he enjoyed celebrating life with friends and family.

Carlos is survived by his children, Carla Marquez-Lewis , Carmena Marquez, Carlos Marquez, II, grandchildren Elijah Amra and Christian Marquez, as well as two nephews and a niece that were like his children: Monica Marquez, Jesse Marquez II, and Robert Marquez. He is also survived by his twin brother, Jesse Marquez, his sister-in-law, Christina Marquez, ex-wife and friend, Emily Marquez, another brother, James Rivas, nine sisters: Margie, Linda, Becky, Nancy, Rosie, Irene, Patty, Letty, and Terry as well as many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, his dear friend Joe Gomez, and many other great friends. He is preceded in passing by his brother, Ronald Marquez.

Friends and family are invited to his Memorial Service on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L. Street in Fresno. A reception and celebration of his life will follow the service.
