AJ was born on February 3, 1995, in Denver, Colorado. He moved to the Fresno area when he was five years old. He attended Mountain View Elementary, and Granite Ridge Intermediate schools, and was currently in eleventh grade at Clovis North Educational Center. Outside school hours, AJ took pride in working at Fresno Coin Gallery. He enjoyed art, music, playing guitar, anything funny, science, building rockets with his Physics Club, and spending time with friends. AJ was amazing, in that he could excel at almost anything if he really put his mind to it.
AJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Rosemary Burchette, and his aunt Lauren Uroff.
AJ is survived by his mother and stepfather Sarah and Stephen Foster; father, Anthony Parker of Johnson City, Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Art and Donna Ritter of Corbin, Kentucky; four step-siblings and their spouses, Stephanie and Mark Thomas, Stephen and Jennifer Foster, Philip Foster, and Christine Foster; aunts and uncles, David St. Louis, Tim St. Louis, Andy and Belinda Burchette, Sandra and Randall Lee, Susan Foster, Pamela and James Muratore, and Tom and Stacy Parker; cousins, Daniel and Laura Lee, Jacob Burchette, and Jimmy Uroff; five nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and loved ones at Fresno Coin Gallery and Clovis North.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Monday, December 12, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the Saint Paul Newman Center, on Tuesday December 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Clovis Cemetery.
