Patricia A. Jones, 74, of Fremont, died Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 9, 1943 in Fremont, Ohio the daughter of Rev. Walter and Naomi (Doaks) Hurse. After graduating from Fremont Ross, she worked locally for Peter Eckrich Co., Heniz and retired from Crown Battery.
She was an active member of Ebenezer Church of God in Christ, volunteered her time at the Pontifex and enjoyed meeting her friends at the YMCA and was a member of Silver Sneakers. When she wasn’t volunteering Trish could be found sewing, canning or cooking.
Surviving are her children: Mia Heidelburg, Manoah Jones, Maurice Jones; 10 grandchildren; 5great-grandchildren; sisters Jeanette Jefferson, Pamela Merrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Micah Jones and siblings Emma Faye Ricksey and Maime Sue Tate.
The family will receive friends at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at The Church on 53, 1105 CR 41 Fremont, OH . Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. C.J. Burel officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
