On Sunday 10 February, Marilyn (Deykes) Kimble, 81, joined her husband of 55 earthly years, The Rev'd Jack Kimble, in God's eternal splendor. She knew he was there to accompany her when she passed at home in Woodville, OH beside her family and a beloved aide.
Marilyn was born 21 January 1938, in Scranton, PA. She was proceeded by her parents George and Laura Deykes, her husband John, and her brother George. She is survived by her sister Laura (The Rev'd Daniel) Jones, daughters Jacqueline (John) Dixon and Elizabeth Vindas, as well as several grand and great grandchildren.
Marilyn fought through a massive stroke in '95, two rounds of breast cancer, and lung cancer, while maintaining a hopeful spirit.
She loved her family and friends, vacations in Canada, the Florida weather & beaches, and her church family.
A memorial service will commence at 11am Saturday Feb. 23rd at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Toledo.
Internment will be at Sylvan Abbey, Clearwater, at a later date.
