Ercell F. “Frank” Fausey, 88, of Fremont died Sunday evening at Fremont Memorial Hospital. He was born October 22, 1924 in Fremont, OH the son of Ercelle W. and Zena (Havens) Fausey. He was a graduate of Old Fort High School. On November 2, 1947 he married Patricia Garn, she preceded him in death on April 30, 2000.
Frank was a farmer and former driver for P.M. Gillmor and Tony’s Bakery. He was a member of Old Fort United Methodist Church, the Farm Bureau and S.C.R.A.P. Mr. Fausey was an avid fan of both the Cleveland Indians and Old Fort Stockaders. He enjoyed wintering in Florida, restoring antique John Deere tractors, fishing and meeting his friends to eat out.
Surviving are his children, Charlotte (Gary) Cole of Tiffin, OH, and Chuck (Kay) Fausey of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: Jason Fausey, Jyl (Bob) Atighechi, Catie (Chris) Wise, Christina (Eric) Hanson; great-grandchildren: Mitra and Kiyan Atighechi, Sidney and Skylar Fausey, Kayden Wise and Cole Hansen. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sisters Gladys Semer and Phyllis Pence.
Visitation will take place Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor John Alice officiating. Burial will follow at Decker Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
